Up to $25,000 in personal or business loans are available at zero interest to qualified Jewish borrowers in the DC metro area.
Loans may be used for a variety of purposes, including credit card debt, loan consolidation, business needs, adoption and fertility, emergency expenses, and more.
Loans are also available to undergraduate students who are junior or seniors and full time graduate students for a maximum of $15,000.
All loans require guarantor(s) to co-sign on the loan (1 guarantor for loans up to $10,000, and 2 guarantors for larger loans).
Guarantors must have a net income of at least $70,000, reside in the DC Metro Area, and be willing to cover the remaining value of the loan if the borrower is to miss payments.
Each guarantor must complete the guarantor form before the loan is approved.
The Paul & Annetta Himmelfarb Foundation Jewish Communal Employee Loans are available for those working for Jewish non-profits, regardless of religious affiliation.
Loans are available up to $5,000.
Borrowers need to have a qualified guarantor for each loan application.
