Shuli Tropp is the Executive Director for the Hebrew Free Loan Association of Greater Washington. Prior to joining HFL, Shuli spent over a decade working in non-profit fundraising in the DC area. Shuli is a proud Terp and holds a BS in Accounting from the University of Maryland, College Park. Shuli lives with her husband and four daughters in Silver Spring, MD, a suburb of Washington DC. She is a past board member of her local synagogue and very involved with her local Jewish community. In her free time, Shuli enjoys baking and running.

Shani Simkovich

Shani Simkovich is the Loan Administrator for the Hebrew Free Loan Association of Greater Washington. Shani has a background in clinical social work and has worked for over a decade assisting individuals and families in the greater DC area, and prior to that in New York City. Shani is passionate about providing disadvantaged and low income individuals with access to supportive resources, and she has worked and volunteered in that area for many years. Shani lives in a suburb of Washington, DC with her spouse and 3 children. In her free time, Shani enjoys exploring local nature reserves and reading historical fiction.

Yale Siegel is the Development and Marketing Associate for the Hebrew Free Loan Association of Greater Washington. Before joining HFL, he worked as a Regional Organizing Director for NextGen America, where he led voter engagement efforts across Nevada. He also served as a Legal Assistant on the Immigration Team at CASA, Inc., supporting immigrant communities through legal services and advocacy. Yale holds a BA in Political Science from Washington University in St. Louis. Passionate about social impact and community engagement, Yale brings a strategic and people-centered approach to his work. In his free time, Yale enjoys sunbathing with a good book.
