Abundance and Scarcity in our Jewish Community

June, Shavuot, and Abundance
June is a month of abundance. We celebrate Shavuot, a holiday commemorating the gifts of the Torah on Mount Sinai and harvest from the land (and also cheesecake!). Our gardens are bursting with flowers and veggies. The DC area is so green and lush, it’s hard not to feel we are surrounded by a bounty worth sharing.
